Refirm™ is effective on all different skin types. Many skin firming treatments only work best with clients that have fair pigmentation in their skin. They generally aren’t able to treat people with darker skin tones without causing visible pigmentation problems. Refirm™ uses a new technology known as elos. Elos is the only technology that uses two different kinds of energies at the same time. This technology makes Refirm™ a more popular choice because it is four to five times more effective than other laser treatments.
The precise heating ensures a safe, effective, fast treatment with no downtime. Fine wrinkles are reduced, noticeable lifting can be observed on sagging skin and the texture of your skin becomes smooth. Unlike conventional lasers and intense pulse lights, Refirm™ uses significantly less optical energy, and ensures enhanced safety for a virtually painless procedure.
Patients at IN•GLO Med Spa will usually schedule between three to five treatments. It all depends on the severity of the wrinkles you wish to smooth and the state of your skin. Multiple treatments are scheduled three or four weeks apart so that there is enough time to heal in between treatments. For optimal results, you will generally keep up with a treatment every six months.
