We treat all body parts (see Treatment Menu) and while we cannot treat blonde hair, darker and more coarse hair yield the best results from these methods.
If you are feeling nervous about getting your treatments performed, we have a full staff that is available to answer all questions. This is why we also offer free consultations and will even perform a free test patch on an area with our on-staff nurse so that you can get the feel for the laser hair removal process.
PREPARATION FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL SERVICES
In your free consultation, our trusted and trained specialist will go over everything you specifically need to get ready for your first appointment. Below we have included the general basics to help you get ready for that first session:
- Do not pluck, wax or thread the treatment area 4 weeks before your appointment. Do shave the entire area of treatment the day or two before your appointment.
- Do not wear any perfume, body lotion, or body sprays to the appointment. This includes recent spray tans or self-tanners.
- Most antibiotics will cause photosensitivity. Therefore, we need you to be off antibiotics two weeks prior to your scheduled appointment.
- No prolonged sun exposure two weeks before your appointment or two weeks after your appointment. There are no exceptions to this rule.
- We ask that you refrain from exercise and hot showers for 24 hours after your treatment.
- Pregnant and lactating women are not candidates.
